Comments on pedigree:
His sire, Stakkato, is for the fourth consecutive year the best stallion for jumping in Germany with the incredible index of inheritability of 170 scores in jumping. He was German Champion at the age of five with the score of 9,9 and German Vice – Champion at the age of six. In 2003 he won the German Championship with the horsewoman E. Bitter, 2nd place at the G.P. in Hamburg and in Münich. His sons are in great demand like Sarioso, who, when he was only five months, was top-price at Verden foals auctions in 2002 for 55.000 Euro. His mother, Copacabana is the daughter of Calypso II, father of important stallions such as Contender, Coriolan, Crazy Classic, Chasseur I and II etc. From this damline descend international winners in dressage and in show jumping such as: F. Sloothaak, St.Pr.St. Carmina Burana, the best broodmare in Germany in 1998 and winner of Ratje-Niebuhrschau in 2000,Weltall, winner of the dressage Grand Prix at the age of 8, and stallions like Pinocchio, Power Prince, Iroko, Ludwig von Bayern and the international Aramis.


Description:
A lighter blood type stallion, with extraordinary looks. Well proportioned with a super front leg technique and shape at the fence. Good loin connection and good neck set.

Performances and Results:
Staron was the best jumping stallion at 2001 licensing and the winner of Free Jumping Championship with the richest jackpot in Germany. At the Performance Test in 2002 he proved to be again the best jumping stallion: 1st classified with the incredible score of 9,09 and obtaining four times the score of 10 in jumping tests. He also received high scores for character 8,5; temperament 9,0; willingness to work 9,0; conformation 9,0; gait 8,5; trot 8,0; gallop 8,5 ! In 2004 he entered the prestigious Hanoverian Breeding Jumping Program and at the age of seven he won his first cat. S at the Youngsters-Tour at Elmlohe. In 2008 he was vice champion at stallions show in Germany !

Performances and Results offspring:
Staron’s first sons, born in Germany in 2003 and in Italy in 2004, distinguish themselves for blood and superlative movements and have already achieved some recognitions during foals shows in both countries. In 2005 Sparta and Sabina di Vallerano were finalists at the foals Championship in Verona. In 2006 his son Stanley S won in free jumping in Germany. In 2007 Stich won the model test in Siena and qualified for the free jumping finals in Verona. On the occasion of PRA free jumping in Sardinia in 2007, his son Lapo De S’Arcaite won the first place out of 200 participants and his daughter Sui Generis won the third place. Star Braun won the Morphology Championiship in Arezzo in 2007 and enters Grosseto PT as candidate stallion.


Mares to use with this stallion: Heavier mares lacking sparkle and blood will benefit from using Staron. Medium weight mares will go very well, to make a super athletic type. Lighter mares who lack strength and substance should be avoided, but well made blood type mares make a combination.
