Comments on pedigree:
Like pearls on a string he combines the big names of the Holstein breeding through his dam which is by the outstanding sire Corrado out of a Contender-Lord-Ramiro dam. Amongst the highly successful descendants of the grand Holstein lineage 318 d2 are the international show jumpers Cabrio/Toni Hassmann, Morales/Dr. Michael Rüping and numerous licensed stallions such as Corofino I and II, Coriano, Crawford, Chello I and II as well as the licensing-champion Camiros. His sire Diamant de Semilly ridden by Eric Levallois was member of the French gold winning team at the world championships in Jerez and won the team silver medal at the European championships the following year. Bred for performance, he has been consistently named "best sire of young horses" at the French championships in Fontaineblau . He can look upon an entire armada of international top-class horses and by now belongs to the most sought after sires in France. Grandsire Le Tot de Semilly was also internationally successful and is considered to be one of the best show jumping producers in France.

Description:
Brilliant in his type, superior in his appearance and extremely precious bloodlines. His technique at the fence is unquestioned, whilst his movement is what you'd expect from his Motherline.

Diarado enchanted the experts on the occasion of the Holstein stallion approvals. A winning stallion from top to toe, combined with fantastic movements and a jet black coat. His abilities seem endless - effortless, quick and superior with an ideal bascule he was the topic of every conversation at the Holstein stallion approvals.

Champion of the 30 day test in 2007 and Champion of the 70 test in 2008.

Comment on conformation offspring:
His first foals were born this year and we await the outcome of this years foal shows in Germany and Holland before making any comments.

Mares to use with this stallion: Anything above medium weight should be avoided, whilst mares carrying blood will do very well.

For broodmares who have not conceived or have reabsorbed, half of the paid stud fee from the previous year is credited, provided that this is confirmed by a veterinarian, submitting an attestation by 1st December. If this document has not been submitted by this date, we regret that a credit voucher cannot be granted. Broodmares that have been inseminated after the 1st July of the respective year for the first time and have not conceived will receive a free covering (within the respective price category). Please note, that also in this case, the veterinary attestation must be submitted by 1st December.

When ordering frozen semen, please note that we only sell the semen per insemination dose. Prices can be attained by telephone. Should your mare not conceive, you cannot claim any reimbursement of the stud fee or any kind of stud fee credit for the following year.
